작가는 “여행과 모험”이라는 주제를 가지고 유럽은 물론 중국, 몽골, 우즈베키스탄, 티지 등 25여 개국 이상을 다니며 풍습과 문화까지 관람 이상으로 직접 거주하며 느끼고 체험한 경험들을 작업으로 풀어냈다. 직접적인 경험으로 풀어낸 작품들은 실제의 풍경에 현지에서 느낀 감정과 심상의 색채를 더했다. 그러기에 작품을 통해 그 지역의 공기와, 현지인들과의 인연이 아직 이어지고 있을 정도로 깊고 진심 어리게 지냈던 작가의 마음을 느낄 수 있다.

세계 곳곳을 다니며 직접 경험을 표현한 나까무라 작가의 작품이 우리의 경험과 상상의 모습을 불러 일으키는 동화같은 환상의 세계를 느끼기를 바란다.

His works are based on direct experience, adding color to the actual landscape with local emotions and mental images, so you can feel the air of the area and the heart of the artist, who lived there as a child and still has a deep and sincere connection with the locals.
